Welcome
NYC Studio
Taryn Toomey’s first standalone container for The Class is a grounding Tribeca studio where floor-to-ceiling crystals, intentional design, and a devoted community shape the energy of the room.
Room to Grow (and Know and Slow...)
Warm wood, grounding earth tones, floor-to-ceiling windows—the studio is an aesthetic parallel to the tenets of the practice itself: exercise the body to engage the mind and connect to the heart.

From Our NYC Community
The clearest understanding of the practice comes from the people who return to it again and again.
“I never knew a class could be so multifaceted. I sweat, I teared up, I sighed. I loved the music choice, loved the instructor. Wow, I will definitely be back.”
“This class is healing. Such a good full body workout, lymphatic drainage, dance, it’s like movement therapy - you just feel so great during and after and I would encourage anyone to try it.”
“I walked in not knowing what to expect as a first timer. I felt comfortable and like I was in the right place. I left feeling rejuvenated, confident, healed, and inspired. Released a lot and wasn’t afraid to let loose.”
Frequently asked questions
Yes! Please register for Class online so that you can create your profile and check off your liability waiver for Class.
Yes, we suggest arriving at least 10 minutes early to check in so we can help you get settled on your mat. With safety and the group experience in mind, students are not permitted to enter Class 5 minutes after the start time. If you are running late within 5 minutes into Class, please call us so that we can hold your mat for you. Your mat may otherwise be given to a waitlisted student.
Please call or email the studio if there’s a possibility that you might be late for Class. If we don’t hear from you, we assume you’re not coming and your mat will be given to a waitlisted student at the beginning of Class.
We suggest wearing comfortable exercise clothing. Sneakers are not mandatory, but first-time students are encouraged to start with sneakers.
Mats and towels are provided for all Classes. There is a water fountain outside of each studio, and we also sell bottled water.
Unfortunately, our studios do not have showers. We provide Beauty Counter face wash, serum, and moisturizer.
We have a 24-hour cancellation policy. If you cancel your reservation within 24 hours of Class, it is considered a "Late Cancellation" and you will lose the Class credit. If you cancel before the 24-hour period, that credit will be returned to your account for future use.
If you know you will be unable to attend Class, our waitlisted students would be so grateful if you Late Cancel your reservation versus not showing up. You can do so via MindBody or by calling the studio. Your communication helps us help others who need this practice.
When Classes are completely full, we begin a waitlist. Students must purchase a Class credit to be added to the waitlist. If the mat is not confirmed, that credit is returned to the account for future use. An addition to the waitlist will be confirmed via email. (Please note that if you un-checked the box that said “Subscribe to email notifications” when you created your MINDBODY account, you will not receive the email if/when added into a waitlisted Class.)
Please don’t be discouraged by a waitlist! When we have open mats, we call the waitlist. We do not leave messages, so please save our number and answer when we call. If you live nearby, feel free to come to the studio and we’ll do our best to get you in.
Joining a waitlist is a commitment to Class. If you receive notification that you have been taken off the waitlist, but choose not to attend, it will be considered a no show.
Our minimum age requirement is 15 years old. Students under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian sign our liability waiver prior to attending a Class.
No, unfortunately Class credits and packages are only redeemable in the city they are purchased in and are non-transferable between cities.
