Travel information

Lumeria is a 25-minute drive from the Kahului (OGG) airport. We do not provide airport transportation in The Retreatment total.

Car Rental

We highly recommend renting a car if you want to explore all that Maui has to offer. We suggest Dollar (866)434-2226 or Hertz (808)893-5200 at the Kahului airport. There is complimentary parking on site.

Taxis

Taxis from the airport to Lumeria are approximately $35. Please be aware that taxis charge a $25.00 surcharge, in addition to meter fees, to do pickups at Lumeria.

E-Bikes

Lumeria is located in the mountains of the North Shore, about a ten-minute drive from the town of Paia and nearest beaches. Because of the steep hill, we highly suggest renting an e-bike for ease of getting around. Please consider confirming your reservation as soon as possible, as e-bikes sell out quickly on the island. We suggest Maui Sunriders or Krank Maui.

Arrival and departure

Check-in is after 3:00 pm on Friday, January 31. Programming will begin at 5:00 pm.

Checkout is before 11:00 am on Tuesday, February 4.

How can I book spa appointments?

Are afternoon activities required?

Everything during The Retreatment is optional. We highly encourage you to join us for meditation and The Class each morning. There will be options for you each afternoon, depending on what your body needs. This week is about taking care of YOU. Please do what feels best and right for your body and spirit.

How do I register for excursions?

More information to come a month prior to The Retreatment.

Travel itinerary

All students must submit their travel itinerary HERE by December 28, 2024, so it allows us to be aware of when people are landing.

Dietary allergies

All our meals will be gluten-free, dairy-free, refined sugar-free, and sourced from the Lumeria Maui gardens.
If you did not submit any dietary allergies during registration, please let us know of any dietary restrictions as soon as possible by emailing [email protected].

What are all the room amenities?

Is there a beach nearby?

A favorite among locals, Baldwin Beach is the closest and most accessible beach at approximately 4.2 miles from Lumeria Maui.

Are any walks or hikes nearby?

Yes, there are many beautiful walks and hikes for all skill levels, located 10-45 minutes driving distance from the Lumeria Maui.

Are yoga mats provided?

Yes, yoga mats and props are provided. 

Are hair dryers provided?

Yes, hair dryers are available in each bathroom.

Is laundry service available?

Laundry service is not available at this retreat. Laundromats are located within 15 minutes in the towns of Pukalani, Kahului, and Haiku.

What is included?

Daily Classes led by The Retreatment facilitators, all meals, and specified afternoon activities are included in The Retreatment total. As a reminder, airfare, airport transportation, alcohol, spa appointments, and travel expenses are not included in the cost.

Do I need to tip?

Tipping at Lumeria is at your discretion and appreciated. The standard tip is 20%, however it is up to you if you’d like to extend a tip to guest services.

Is pricing in USD?

Yes.

Will alcohol be served?

Alcohol will be available at this retreat and is not included in The Retreatment total.

Are pool or beach towels provided?

Yes.

Is there a vegetarian option for food?

Yes, there will be vegetarian and vegan options. Please share this dietary restriction with us by emailing [email protected].

Is there wifi?

Yes.

What is an Altar Offering?

During The Retreatment, we invite you to bring an object that holds meaning for you.  We will create a space at the front of our practice room for you to place this object. It could be a photo, a piece of art, jewelry, a letter—anything. We suggest that you think about this ahead of time.

Logistics

What is the Cancellation Policy?

‘The Class Corp’ does not offer refunds for the deposit for any reason.

If you should need to cancel prior to the December 28, 2024, payment deadline, you will not be responsible for the remainder of your payment.

Should you need to cancel on or after December 28, 2024, the remainder of your payment must be paid in full.

Please know that should you cancel, you will not be able to transfer your cancelled registration to another person.

‘The Class Corp’ is not responsible for your expenses incurred in preparation for any canceled retreat, such as airline tickets, loss of work, positive covid test, extended lodging and/or other costs associated with preparing for your trip.

When is my remainder due?

Remainder payments are due December 28, 2024.

Travel Cancellation Insurance

It is your responsibility to read and understand our cancellation policy before making a reservation. Naturally, no one books with the intention of canceling or postponing their retreat, but unexpected things do happen, so please consider purchasing travel cancellation insurance. Depending on the policy and conditions, travel cancellation insurance will pay for some or all cancellation fees. With most agencies, insurance must be purchased within 14 days of making your reservation.
